Gun Point is an exclusive tropical hideaway located at the northern tip of Eleuthera in The Bahamas.
Surrounded by natural deep waters, beautiful reefs and gorgeous white sandy beaches, the property covers
31 acres of coconut palm groves, lush vegetation, coral outcrops, and stunning beaches.
The property also contains a native farm producing seasonal local fruit and vegetables.
Gun Point was originally owned by Lord Beaverbrook, who, as a reward for his assistance during
World War II, was given the opportunity to name any place he would wish to own as a gift from the Crown.
He chose Gun Point and inhabited it for many years. During his years at Gun Point he was visited by many
international dignitaries season after season.
Eleuthera was home to the first loyalist settlers in
The Bahamas and the island runs north to south for 100 miles.
Settlements abound, each with it's own unique flavor and festivals.
Resorts, restaurants, boutiques and lounges dot the winding road that follows the
length of the island.
Gun Point is minutes by boat from Spanish Wells, a quaint fishing settlement
with various retail establishments for groceries and shopping.
The glamorous celebrity society of Harbour Island is also close by and accessible by both taxi and ferry.
Fishing guides/excursions, scuba diving and boat rentals can be arranged
from Spanish Wells or Harbour Island. Assistance in arrangements will be accommodated by our professional staff.
